Fantasy Classic Cast – Privacy Policy

Fantasy Classic Cast is a Chrome extension that shows your ESPN Fantasy Football matchup in a classic two-column live view. This policy explains what information the extension uses and where it goes.

The short version

Fantasy Classic Cast does not collect, store, sell or share your personal information. It has no servers of its own. It only talks to ESPN, using the ESPN account you are already signed in with, to show you your own fantasy data.

Information the extension uses

• Your ESPN sign-in. When you open ESPN Fantasycast, the extension asks ESPN for your league, matchup and player data. Your browser sends your existing ESPN sign-in cookies with those requests, the same way the ESPN website does. The extension never sees or stores your password.
• Your ESPN member ID. The extension reads your ESPN member ID (the SWID cookie on fantasy.espn.com) so it can ask ESPN for the list of your fantasy teams and work out which team in a league is yours. This ID is only sent to ESPN.
• Fantasy and NFL data from ESPN. League settings, team names, owner names, rosters, scores, player stats and play-by-play are loaded from ESPN and displayed on your screen. This data is not saved or sent anywhere else.

Information stored on your device

The extension saves a few display preferences in Chrome's local extension storage on your computer: whether the classic view is open, whether the header is collapsed, and the width of the games column. These settings never leave your device and are deleted when you remove the extension.

Who the extension communicates with

The extension only sends requests to ESPN services:

• lm-api-reads.fantasy.espn.com – your fantasy league, matchups and player stats
• site.api.espn.com – NFL scores, game status and play-by-play
• fan.api.espn.com – the list of your fantasy teams

It does not use analytics, advertising, tracking or any third-party service. ESPN's handling of these requests is covered by ESPN's own privacy policy.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or transfer your data to anyone.
• We don't use your data for anything other than showing you your fantasy matchup.
• We don't use your data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
